Kenny Fischer (Founder)
Spent his first 15 years of business in the International non-ferrous metals recycling industry. He was President of Diversified Metals, the largest division of Diversified Industries, a New York Stock exchange company and the largest scrap metal processing and trading company in the world at that time. In December 1985 he formed Business Network Corporation (BNC). BNC contracted services for over 10 years to several national auction companies including Ross-Dove Co. where, as Senior Vice President, he was charged with developing a real estate; government and financial instruments auction division. He created the Grubb & Ellis/Ross-Dove Real Estate Auction Partnership and the Paine Webber/Ross-Dove Loan Portfolio Co-Venture. These two entities were premier sub contractors to the FDIC, RTC and major Banks and Financial Institutions for the disposal of their non-performing real estate and loans. Hundreds of real estate and loan auctions were conducted over a six-year period, grossing over $1.4 billion.

In addition to Fly Fishing for Life™, Kenny continues to operate BNC as a business development and marketing consultancy specializing in the metals and auction industries in the U.S. and Asia. Kenny is a member of the International Game Fish Association, Trout Unlimited and the Federation of Fly Fishers. Kenny and wife Barbara live in Los Angeles, California.

Fly Fishing Instructors

Brian Hastings
Picked up his first fly rod on a trip to Africa ten years ago. After his first trout and tigerfish, he was hooked. Since then his passion, has led him to fly fish in the Cayman Islands, Belize, Bahamas, Florida, Cuba, Fiji, Baja, Australia, British Columbia, and every other day in the California saltwater. He has also guided and taught fly fishing in his hometown of Santa Barbara, California. In his free time he likes to stalk his favorite fish, the Silver King, on the flats of the tropics.

Reece Lansberg
Is a certified FFF Master Casting Instructor. He's been a fly fishing guide in both salt and fresh water for the past 10 years. Each year, through his River's Edge Outfitters Company in Oklahoma City, he teaches casting to 200 students. Reece is an accomplished fly tyer and is a casting instructor at 3 state colleges and has conducted many exploratory trips worldwide. A master saltwater and freshwater angler, Reece has fished for and released most of the world's great saltwater game fish.

Joe Libeu
Is a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Casting Instructor, one of 57 Federation of Fly Fishers Master Fly Casting Instructors in America, a member of the Advisory Council for Federation of Fly Fishers and a member of Federation of Fly Fishers Board of Governors. He is currently responsible for teaching students; the teaching, training and testing of individuals that aspire to become certified and master casting instructor. Joe has been fly fishing since 1973 and a fly fishing guide since 1998. He's on the National Pro Staff of G. Loomis and the Pro Staff for Bob Marriotts' Fly Fishing store. Joe also serves as a consultant for the Costa Azul Resort in Mexico. Joe has taught fly fishing classes at UCLA, CSULB and El Camino Jr. College in Southern California.

Capt. Bill Matthews
Started fly fishing at the age of eight years old, then rediscovered it at 30. Bill began a lifestyle that was involved with the outdoors and the pursuit of fish on the fly. He has traveled extensively in both North and South America to chase saltwater fish on the fly including his favorites: Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Tuna, Rooster fish, Marlin and all the Southern California variety. Capt. Bill is a licensed guide as well as a Charter Captain and has been guiding in the Los Angeles area since 1994. Capt. Bill says that he "loves to teach all aspects of the sport and seeing someone experience a new form of fishing is his grand reward."

Capt. Tyler Stone
Is the owner and manager of Intracoastal Angler in Wilmington NC. Intracoastal Angler is a full service tackle shop and outfitting service that caters to saltwater anglers. Capt. Tyler also runs a charter booking and guide service for inshore species such as drum, speckled trout, Spanish mackerel, Atlantic bonito, and false albacore. He has hosted trips to Andros Island and Costa Rica and has conducted casting demonstrations and clinics for his store for the past five years.

Capt. Stone recently finished taping his fifth show for Carolina Outdoor Journal, is a state-funded fishing television program. He's been featured in Saltwater Sportsman magazine and twice been a featured speaker in the Saltwater Sportsman Seminar Series. Capt. Tyler serves on the Division of Marine Fisheries, Finfish Committee and on the Southern Flounder Advisory Panel to preserve North Carolina's marine resources.

Neal Taylor
Is one of the better-known fly fishermen of Southern California. He has taught this sport for over twenty years for UCLA Extension, at UC Irvine, Bakersfield College, Moorpark College, and UCSB. As a licensed guide for thirty years, he has shepherded groups of students through weekend workshops, schools and six-week courses since the 1970's. He first learned to cast while in elementary school and began to enter tournaments at a young age, winning his first of seven national casting titles at 14 years of age. At the first ever sports show at Gilmore Stadium in Los Angeles Neal demonstrated fly casting.

Continuing his demonstrations while in the air force, Neal was invited to fly fish in Colorado with President Dwight D. Eisenhower. He currently teaches classes at UCLA and in Santa Barbara, California. His book on the basics serves as the class text. Neal recently retired as Santa Barbara County Park Department Naturalist where he guided tours on Cachuma Lake and conducted nature programs for thousands of school children and the public each year.

David Fisher
Has been working for more than 25 years with individual leaders and organizations to cause transformation. He was a founding member of ComputerLand Corporation, one of the first national franchises for retail computer sales. In addition, he has co-founded four non-profit corporations including Asset, a child abuse prevention foundation, and The Breakthrough Foundation which won a 1000 Points Of Light Award from President George Bush in 1982. His guiding principle that has evolved through time is that a leader must ultimately be True to himself.

Working in the for-profit and non-profit arenas, his focus has been on how to lead while creating first of kind, breakthrough results. Recently, Mr. Fisher has turned his talents to co-found the Foundation For Spiritual Democracy, an international youth leadership training program training youth in how to tap into the human spirit and train other youth in leading successful community projects. Through his company, Fisher Associates, he is successfully helping several Fortune 150 and Best Companies to Work for" executives strengthen their creativity and leadership skills.

In addition to his extensive professional experience, David is also an accomplished athlete, completing 30 marathons, the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon, and the climb to Mt. Everest Base Camp. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from The University of San Francisco and several counseling certificates from in service training programs by California counties.
