TRIP APPLICANT'S RESPONSIBILITIES To accurately and completely furnish any personal information requested for approval; to carefully review all information furnished about the trip, and to understand as thoroughly as possible the physical and mental demands of the trip and the risks to be encountered on the trip. To properly equip themselves in accordance with recommendations of the leader, outfitter, and Fly Fishing for Life™. To respect the customs of countries visited, avoid breaking any applicable laws and to refrain from antisocial conduct during the trip; to follow environmental guidelines and regulations in accordance with direction from the leader; and to always respect the rights and privacy of other trip members. EMERGENCY CARE In case of accident, illness, or a missing trip member, Fly Fishing for Life, through its leaders, will attempt to provide aid and arrange search and evacuation assistance when the leader determines it is necessary or desirable. Please note that our leaders do not carry communication devices and that emergency help or evacuation may be difficult to arrange. Costs of evacuation or search (helicopter, etc.) and of medical care beyond first aid are the financial responsibility of the ill or injured person. Because out of country medical aid is costly, medical and evacuation insurance is advised. Fly Fishing for Life™ does not provide this coverage for participants on any trips. TRAVEL INSURANCE In addition to medical and evacuation insurance, we advise trip members to purchase travel insurance to cover the costs of canceled airfare and other associated trip expenses. One firm I have used is CSA. You may want to call them at 800-348-9505 or check with similar insurance providers. I strongly recommend that you buy travel insurance and emergency care insurance. THE LEADER IS IN CHARGE At the leader's discretion, a member may be asked to leave the trip if the leader feels the person's further participation may be detrimental to the trip or to the individual.
